CHAPTER NO.1

DEFINITIONS

i) ''Advisor'' means a person nominated by the Commission to assist in

the conduct of Interview by the Commission.

ii) “Departmental Representative” means a senior officer of the

concerned Department, who is accepted by the Commission as member

of Interview Committee, constituted for selection of candidate(s)

against the post(s) advertised concerning that department.

iii) ''Application'' means an online application received from a candidate

for a specific post advertised by the Commission.

iv) ''Appointing Authority'' means an officer or authority designated as

such in the relevant Service Rules framed by the Government for the

post(s).

v) “Committee” means a Committee constituted by the Chairman to

conduct interview of eligible candidate for selection to specified posts.

The strength and composition of such Committee shall be determined

by the Chairman.

vi) ''Candidate'' means a person who applies for a particular post(s) in a

specified manner.

vii) ''Closing Date'' means the closing date fixed by the Commission for

submission of applications by the candidates for specific post(s).
