viii) ''Commission'' means the Punjab Public Service Commission as

defined in PPSC Ordinance, 1978.

ix) ''Department'' means a Department as defined in Punjab

Government Rules of Business, 2011.

x) ''Full Commission Meeting'' means a meeting convened by the

Chairman and attended by the Members to deliberate on administrative

or recruitment or policy matter(s) for decision and includes a Special

Full Commission Meeting.

xi) ''Government'' means Government of the Punjab.

xii) ''Interview/Viva Voce'' means an oral examination to assess the

suitability of a candidate for the job/post applied for. In the case of

candidates of Combined Competitive Examination or any other Exam/

Post where it may be so required, interview also includes psychological

assessment.

xiii) ''Member'' means a Member of the Commission and includes the

Chairman.

xiv) ''Member Incharge'' means a Member nominated by the Chairman to

deal with all matters pertaining to selection/recruitment for post(s) of

specified Department(s). He/she acts as a coordinator and deals with

the concerned Department(s) on all policy/selection matters after

getting approval from the Chairman.
