PREFACE

First ever effort has been made to specify and publicize PPSC’s Policy
Decisions which are directly related to the candidates in order to maintain merit,

professionalism, excellence and transparency as these are cardinal ingredients of

PPSC’s recruitment policy. The Commission has made extensive effort for clarity

and information of all aspirants for jobs.

The Document is an outcome of a comprehensive and interactive exercise

consisting of different stages. The Punjab Public Service Commission gratefully
acknowledges the valuable contribution of its PD Review Committee for preparing

highly useful document which will serve as a source of information and guidance,

and may be reviewed periodically on need basis.

The Punjab Public Service Commission also places on record its thanks to
Punjab Information Commission (PIC) for rendering assistance in implementation

of the Punjab Transparency and Right to Information Act, 2013, through

publication of the Policy Decisions, PPSC Regulations, 2022, Important
Instructions etc. on PPSC’s website (www.ppsc.gop.pk).

The Commission pledges to move forward with greater zeal, spirit,

commitment and dedication in order to continuously upgrade the system,
standards and quality of induction to meet the future challenges. Merit,

professionalism, excellence and transparency will continue to be the hallmarks of

the Commission. May ALLAH (SWT) be our Guide and Protector. Ameen!
